Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa is the casino resort at 4837 Albion Road, in the south end of the city. It opened on July 3, 2025 as a $350 million resort, Canada's first fully integrated Hard Rock resort. The doors are open 24/7, 365 days a year.
The ground has a longer history. Rideau Carleton Raceway opened here in 1962 as Canada's first five-eighths mile harness racing oval. Before the resort, the casino on the site was called Rideau Carleton Casino. OLG selected Hard Rock International in 2017 to operate the casino at the raceway. Harness racing at the raceway has ended.

Who gets in?
Everyone at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa must be 19 or older. The rule covers the casino, the restaurants, the hotel and Hard Rock LIVE, as well as gaming itself. Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa has over 1,500 slot machines and 40 live-action table games. Tables cover Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Baccarat and Ultimate Texas Hold'em, and there is a new Baccarat room. Table games run 24/7, Monday to Sunday.

Can you get there without a car?
A paid shuttle links Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa with Leitrim Station and Uplands Station. Leitrim Station is an OC Transpo bus station and Park & Ride, with a transfer to O-Train Line 2. Service there runs from 7:00 AM, the first departure from the resort, to 12:30 AM, the last departure from Leitrim. Overnight, the shuttle switches to Uplands Station from 1:00 AM to 3:30 AM. There is no shuttle from 11:00 to 11:59 AM, from 5:00 to 5:59 PM and from 10:00 to 10:59 PM.
Fares are paid only by card, credit or tap. Valet parking runs 24/7, every day. Two electric vehicle chargers stand on site, in front of the hotel and in the VIP lot outside the VIP entrance.
